4 Watt FM Transmitter with 2N3553




This is a small but quite powerful FM transmitter having three RF stages incorporating an audio preamplifier for better modulation. t has an output power of 4 Watts and works off 12-18 VDC which makes it easily portable. MODULATION


  • Modulation is the process by which the ampiltude and frequency of Modulating signal is changed by the effect of Carrier signal. After modulation we get modulated signal which is used in transmission system.
  • What is AM & what is FM it is very necessary for us to know about this term.Its shortly given below:
  • AM is the term that emplies Amplitude Modulation. In this methode the carrier signal change the amplitude of the modulating signal. Which means that in AM the frequency of the modulating signal unchanged but amplitude is varrying with respect to the carrier signal.Picture transmitting system use AM methode...
  • FM is the term that emplies Fequency Modulation . In this methode the carrier signal change the frequency of the modulating signal. Which means that in FM the amplitude of the modulating signal unchanged but frequency is varrying with respect to the carrier signal. Sound or voice transmitting system use FM method....
